An applicant who wishes to apply for admission to master programme in the Faculty of Dentistry shall possess the following qualifications:
General Entry Requirements:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS); or Doctor of Dental Surgery; or other dentistry equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC).
- Registered with the MDC and holds current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) or registered with the dental regulatory body in another country and eligible to be granted a Temporary Practising Certificate (TPC) by MDC.
Other Entry Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years clinical practice after basic degree.
- Health requirements as required by University. Students must be tested negative from any blood-borne viruses and HIV during screening and must adhere to guidelines stated by professional authority.
- Satisfactory performance in an interview and admission test (if required) conducted by the Jawatankuasa Pemilihan Calon Siswazah Peringkat Sarjana dan Doktor Falsafah, Fakulti Pergigian, USIM.
